My 19th Birthday- Food and Outfits

Yesterday was my 19th birthday- it’s so weird to think I’m now in my 20th year of life, not sure if I really want to get any older! I had a great day off from stressful uni coursework and I could just relax and enjoy myself. I went out to lunch with my parents to an Italian restaurant called VICO, just past Leicester Square tube station. The food was great- we had starters of artichoke ‘alla Romana’, fried squid, lamb polpette and lasagncino (deep fried lasagne- so good!). For main I had gnocchi with green pesto and a side of courgette chips- I could eat them all day long! By desert I was extremely full, but you can’t not have desert on your birthday can you? I opted for profiteroles ‘Zeppola’- with sour cherry and pouring melted chocolate- it was so rich but so good! During the day (of what your can see from the photo) I wore a H&M navy tee underneath my new Cos short-sleeve jacket with sheer geometric detail. For jewelry I’m wearing my Ted Baker beetle necklace and silver minimal hoops from Accessorize.

I then popped back home to change for the evening. My sister took me to see Guys and Dolls at the theatre- it was a fabulous show! For the evening, I wore my new navy wrap-skirt from Closet (concession on Asos) with silver metallic top from Urban Outfitters. I wore my heeled boots from Clarks, Accessorize earrings (as before), Olivia Burton watch and new circular black cross-body bag from Fiorelli.

Overall I had a wonderful day and thank you for all the birthday wishes and love. I can’t wait to continue celebrating with my friends over the next few days!
