Today I went to meet my friend Olivia for brunch and a stroll through Victoria Park in Mile End. We went for pancakes (0f course!) at The Pavilion Cafe which is a great location by the waterfront. Luckily, we found a space inside as although a beautiful sunny day it was very cold and windy today! We had pancakes with maple syrup, rhubarb, creme fraiche and praline and if we hadn’t already had enough sugar we accompanied our pancakes with a hot chocolate!
I decided to wear my trusty boucle jacket, purchased around 4 years- wow how time flies! I love this jacket as the boucle detail is very Chanel-esque and the leather lapels add edge. I paired my jacket with basic A-line black skirt from Stradivarius and grey cross over blouse from Zara. Then, I slipped on my black loathers which are now unbelievably comfortable after months of blisters wearing them in! For accessories, I’m wearing my new circular black bag from Fiorelli which was a birthday present from my lovely sister. I love the shape and it also has a croc section around the bottom which I adore. Silver hoops from Accessorize, Olivia Burton watch and silver choker necklace from Selected Femme (asos.com) complete the look.
I had uni after meeting my friend and I often wear monochrome outfits to uni as they are just very easy to put together when I’m getting ready in a rush in the mornings! I also popped into Urban Outfitters after uni with my friend Georgia and I’ve included a photo of her rocking an all over pink look with pinafore and bomber jacket- she looked fab!
I hope you like this look- I really enjoyed shooting it as we managed to find some great backgrounds for photos along the canal and in the park which I was very pleased with- Enjoy!
