Exploring Kensington- V&A and OOTD

Hey guys! A couple of weeks back my bestie came to visit me in London before she went off on her gap year travelling around the world. Whilst she was down, we decided to explore Kensington which included going to the V&A. There was a great free exhibition at the museum titled ‘Curtain Up: Celebrating 40 Years of Theatre in London and New York’. I’m a big fan of musicals and the exhibition gave us an insight into behind the scenes and production side of theatre. I especially enjoyed seeing the costumes and miniature set designs from various musicals plus you could also try mixing the sound from the musical ‘Hairspray’. Our day in Kensington was great and I especially liked seeing all the beautiful (and I’m sure very expensive) houses which I could only dream of living in some day- Enjoy!

OOTD- Rachel

I loved Rachel’s outfit that she wore while we were gallivanting around Kensington. Her gorgeous turquoise embroidered tunic was bought in India and due to the sheer nature of the fabric she is wearing a simple black skirt from Urban Outfitters underneath. To make the look more casual she threw on her Asos denim jacket, Nike trainers and Fjallraven Kanken backpack. For jewellery, this look would be complete for Rachel without her signature hoops and dainty wishbone necklace from Asos.
