Hey everyone here is the makeup look that I’ve been wearing on a daily basis recently. It’s very simple, natural, with warm pink hues. Most of the time I stay within my comfort zone with my makeup and usually opt for a neutral tones. However, I’d like to experiment more with eye makeup and I’m also yet to master contouring since I always tend to have a ‘muddy’ looking outcome when I try.

Base: This makeup look is good for covering up severe redness and Rosacea. I’ve struggled to conceal my redness for years and I’ve finally found the makeup and technique that works. It sounds like a crime in the beauty world, but what I do is apply the Inika Concealer all over my cheeks and blend in with a Real Techniques beauty blender. On the rest of my face and over the concealer, I use the Inika Mineral foundation, applying a light layer using my EcoTools kabuki brush. I’ve found applying concealer to my cheeks is the only product that gives me enough coverage to stop my redness from seeping through my makeup. I’d prefer to use less makeup but I’ve accepted that at this point I’m just going to put up with it.
Eyebrows and Eyes: I’m sure lots of people would be repulsed by slugs for eyebrows because I admittedly really don’t do anything with them apart from occasionally plucking them and putting on a little eyebrow pencil. They are naturally quite dark but don’t have much of an arch. I’ve always been wary of overplucking and don’t really fancy having them threaded so currently I’m embracing my slightly shabby eyebrows. For eyeshadow, I’m just wearing this pinky brown shade from my Benecos palette which I apply with my Real Techniques base shadow brush- it’s the perfect soft, everyday shade. My mascara is by Green People and it’s definitely the best natural/organic mascara I’ve tried since it adds volume and length to my sparse lashes and doesn’t have too much of a wet consistency like the others I’ve tried.
Lips: I don’t like to always wear lipstick during the day since it’s annoying to maintain when I’m eating/drinking etc. Quite often, if I have work or uni, I’ll just wear some of the Neal Yards lip balm to moisturise my lips and over the top, I use the Lily Lolo lip liner all over my lips since it’s long lasting and I like the neutral nude tone.
